Goodlife update…

So, $29.95 / 2 weeks is based on a 1 year contract ( told me to be sure, the rep failed to mention it, and made it sound otherwise), however the contract can be transferred to someone else, can be cancelled for free with a doctor’s note, or cancelled anytime for $99. That’s not that bad actually, since it is an escape clause…a bit pricey, but I am not bound to paying a year’s worth either. Also, apparently they give away a heartrate monitor wristwatch to all new members….which could be a piece of junk, or could be a decent example. It’s probably not too fancy, but time, date, and heartrate is all I would really expect or need from it.

I am still dithering, but I suspect I will go for it. I want a good excuse to really get some more activity, and the group session was an engaging option. I can do great when someone else keeps pushing me, I am just bad at pushing myself. My hesitation is just the availability of the classes (which classes I would want to do vs when I can take them). I also checked, the gym is about 2.5 km from the house, which definitely qualifies as close.

I also wonder, if I get into a show, like the upcoming Guys and Dolls….when I will find time to get in there, but I guess it comes down to priorities, and I just need to find time to do rehearsals, see Helen, and still keep active, and just try and do my best.
