Ok, to expand on photo hosting options…

I am not sure I realized how cheap hosting can be. godaddy.com (and yes I know, there are a bajillion other options, it’s just a name that people recognize) will give 5GB space, 250GB transfer a month, my own domain name, email aliases up the wazoo, and more, for $3.99 (US) a month. I really need to see how big damehelen.com is, and how busy it is, because I suspect magma is charging us waaaaaaay more than that.

Flickr is way more fun, I will admit that, with all the community options, geotagging, and privacy locking, but this hosting thing is also entirely plausible. My mac has a web design and publishing tool (all template based of course) that would make actually designing a snap. $4 a month is still about twice the cost of Flickr, but the options are far greater.

I will have to experiment.
