What’s the literary term when the weather reflects your mood?

Stayed home from work today, the cold has landed nicely into my throat. Sore throat, coughing, but it’s left a little love for the sinuses with some sniffling to remind me of its origins. How nice.

I decided, almost last minute, to call foms and find out how the poly community supper was doing, and if they were headed anywhere for dessert, to call me. He let me know they were shifting to Pub Italia for drinks, so I decided to get out and be social, and just not shake anyone’s hand of cough on them. I am pretty sure I avoided infecting anyone, though sitting between two cute women (athena_51, and…..I don’t know her lj name) and feeling too sick to flirt was dissapointing. The company was good though, we chatted, debated a bit, until 11 or so.

I am debating (much like I debated with myself yesterday) whether to drag myself to the gym for some healthy cardio (and extensive wiping down of the machine after), and to say to hell with it, and watch some Buffy/Angel.

By the way, season finale of Battlestar Galactica…..what the hell!?!? Ok, I want to know where they go with that….but for the first time since I started watching…I am not sure they are taking a good direction. Maybe it’s all a bait and switch though, make the audience think one thing, and it turns out to be another. I hope so anyways.
