No operation for me…yet.

The pressure has gone down, such that he now prefers to wait, continue treatment, and refer me to another doctor that can actually remove the cyst properly. All I would have had done today was an operation to drain it and remove the infection, the cyst would have still been there. Now I have an appointment in April to get that removed properly. In the meantime, we are going to try and remove the infection the old fashioned way, with antibiotics, and vigilance.

It is considerably less painful overall, so that’s an improvement.
