stupid stove

Is this normal for stoves?

To fix a loose oven door handle, I need to
-take out the bottom pot/stuff drawer
-unscrew the glass front with 5 screws facing the floor about 8 inches up
-slide out the glass front, put it aside
-unscrew the top panel/bracket that the handle is attached to
-open the door and slide that up and off, and flip it over
-and there are the 2 screws that can tighten the handle.

If anything will go loose on an oven, it’s the handle, it’s what you pull on, pulling at different angles each time possibly. Couldn’t they have made those screws a little easier to get to.

In other news, I was driving to work a few days ago on the 417, when a rock flies out of no where and cracks off my windshield like a bullet (scaring me half to death), leaving a small, 2cm star shaped fracture in the lower centre. Friday evening (hadn’t had time to look up a windshielf repair place yet…yes I should have acted on that sooner), it all of a sudden blossomed with 3 hairline cracks radiating out in different directions, which are currently each a foot long or so (not in a straight line). Yes, I am aware it may be too late for a spot repair. Yes, I should have looked up a windshield repair centre that very day. I didn’t expect it to radiate out like that.

I am going to really annoyed if the whole windshield needs replacing. Annoyed at me for waiting even a few days, and annoyed at the universe in general for throwing rocks at my car.
