Ratatouille

Brilliant.

I think this is Pixar’s best film yet. I have liked all of Pixar’s offerings, but some have been a bit more flat than others (I found Cars to be only … ok), but Ratatouille is funny, stylish, fun, good for kids, good for adults, long enough, not too long. Helen and I went to see it last night and both had a fantastic time of it.

I recommend it.

I have a selection of potted plants at home that are free to a good home. I have been maintaining them and watering them for Helen, but her garden is reaching maximum capacity, and of all the ones I’m taking care of, only one actually interests me to keep personally (ie if no one wants it, I might still save it, the rest go on the compost). They are all varying green plants of unspecified name (Helen I am sure could name them). One is a fairly health castor bean plant, and a fair quantity of fairly healthy and robust colius that really needs a bigger pot. The rest……are green…..and growing *shrug*. Some are sort of viney, some are just small green blobby plants. One has a slightly reddish hue to the leaves, none have flowers (yet?). I will try and take a few pictures. To be clear, if you don’t take them, my compost pile will.
