I had a blast this past weekend. I went down to Toronto for Tormenta and Northbard’s housewarming party (and though I didn’t realize it until I was in the door, mycrazyhair’s party too). It was a packed party, with lots of people I didn’t know, and a few people I did. I think I crashed out sometime close to 5:00 am, and there were still a few people chatting at the time.

Sunday, Corbet was running her glamourshoot, the gist of which is to get dressed up in something spiffy, then get your picture taken somewhere grungy (back alleys, graffitti walls, broken down gates…whatever). That was also good fun, and fun in way I have never tried before. It’s one thing to take a pose, hold a pose, and take direction, but also from time to time come up with ideas for a good shot and set up the shot. I wish I had remembered m camera. I will shamelessly link to some of the pictures once the photographers have got them scrubbed up and online somewhere.

I stopped in briefly to say hello to finitedancer and peredur as I came back through Kingston, and got home fairly later last night. There was a theory I might crash in Kingston, so I took today off work (for the best, I still woke up around 11:00).
