How do I rate on the 7 deadly sins?

WRATH

Who did you last get angry with?
Um…I really don’t get angry much. I suppose it may have been Helen, there were some emotionally charged moments surrounding a breakup.

What is your weapon of choice?
I really try not to use it, but sheer physical presence. If I am moved to leverage it, I can be very imposing, and accomplish a lot without actually striking out.

Would you hit a member of the opposite sex?
In true wrath? I would try not to, and I think I have never lost myself so much that I wouldn’t be able to help it. With rattan (SCA fighting), sure. In passion…hell yes (if I knew she’d be ok with that after).

How about the same sex?
All the same rules apply. I don’t find one gender more or less deserving. Try my best not to in wrath, sure in fun, and in passion is not likely to come up in this case.

Who was the last person who got really angry at you?
That I know of? I suspect there have been moments that Helen has been made at me as well. I am not aware of anyone else getting mad at me.

What is your pet peeve?
Willful ignorance. People who don’t know what’s going on in the world, and don’t want to. People who refuse to hear about the atrocities in Darfur, or refuse to learn how their meat is processed, or plug their ears to avoid uncomfortable truths. Consider this, as awkward as it may be to hear, there is someone else who has it worse by having to experience it.

Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easily?
As a rule…no. I don’t get angry easily, I stay angry even less. Life is really too short to get that bothered by something.

SLOTH

What is one thing you’re suppose to do daily that you haven’t?
Exercise? I do get to the gym, but on days I don’t go, I don’t actually have a source of activity that replaces it much. I might also put “Eat enough vegetables”. I get veggies, but I am not sure it’s up to the amount I should be eating.

What is the latest you’ve ever woken up?
A week ago it was pushing noon. That’s pretty extreme though (what do you want, it was almost 5:00 when I crashed)

Name a person you’ve been meaning to contact, but haven’t?
Some old friends from high school. There was some noise at some point about meeting again for drinks…and we never got that rolling.

What is the last lame excuse that you made?
That I coudn’t be bothered? (I please apathy your honour)

Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through?
Yep…when I was too young to realize they were commercials, and thought they were an informative documentary.

How many times did you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock this morning?
This morning, I didn’t. Most mornings…once maybe. My alarm is the radio though, so I usually let it blabber for 10 minutes or so before actually getting up.

GLUTTONY

What is your overpriced yuppie beverage of choice?
Unless you include a black coffee in that…I don’t think I have one. I mean, I enjoy a cappuccino, or a chai, but as you say, they are often overpriced, and I often enjoy just a coffee equally.

Are you a meat eater?
Yes. I’m no radical carnivore though (vegetable is a garnish….*grunt*). I like vegetables as much, and bread more than both. I will have some amount of meat through the week…maybe, but not necessarily daily, and rarely in huge amounts.
By the way, the “Veggies aren’t food, they are what food eats” attitude can go up in pet peeves as well. What a stupid, fake macho statement.

What is the greatest amount of alcohol you’ve had in one sitting/outing/event?
Er….I guess the first time I ever got drunk. High school graduation. Only time I have been sick from the drink. I rarely get drunk, only once sick. I generally just reach pleasantly tipsy.

Are you comfortable with your drinking and eating habits?
Sort of. I eat more packaged foods than some might say I should, though I am in fact moderately comfortable with that. I probably should get a few more veggies in me (though have taken a shine to V8 which is helping my intake)

Do you enjoy candy and sweets?
Somewhat

Which do you prefer: sweets, salty foods or spicy foods?
Salty probably. The savoury treats are the most appealing. I can reach my limit on sweet pretty early.

Have you ever looked at a small house pet or child and thought, “lunch”?
No. I have sometimes thought “PUPPY!!!!”

GREED

How many credit cards do you own?
One

If you had a million dollars, what would you do with it?
Um….I used to have a good answer for that, but I think it’s changed. I would do some travelling for sure. A new car, a kick ass new computer, and probably tuck a good chunk of it away into RRSPs and such. Right here and now, there is no big expense I can think of that I want to take on. I am not sure I want another house after this one, I think a rental would do. Maybe a condo though…I’d consider that.

Would you rather be rich or famous?
Rich…though that’s a close call.

Would you accept a boring job if it meant that you would make megabucks?
Depends on how boring, but probably. I can usually amuse myself, and it’s after work that I usually get my kicks.

PRIDE

What’s one thing that you have done that you’re most proud of?
Auditioned for my first show, and getting in.

What’s one thing you have done that your parents are most proud of?
Any number of things. They were good people, anything I’ve done that brought me happiness in life would make them happy.

What thing would you like to accomplish late in your life?
Early retirement, widespread fame….I don’t know, I’d settle for comfortable and happy.

Do you get annoyed by coming in second place?
Depends in what. For the most part, no. There are contests in which I value my own performance, but I am usually putting myself around people that excel at that in order to get more involved myself…so it’s no surprise when they excel. I am a good singer, so I get into Orpheus around people that teach singing/drama and can blow my socks off. That’s ok though.

Have you ever entered a contest of skill, knowing you were of much higher skill than all the other competitors?
I don’t actually get into contests very much, and never *because* I think I am better (though I may be)

Have you ever cheated to get a better score?
No

What did you do today that you’re proud of?
Well…it’s 8:30 am on a Sunday…so that’s something. Don’t have time to be proud of much else.

LUST

How many people have you seen naked (not counting movies, family, strippers, locker rooms)?
Um…have we met? There is a significant chance I’ve seen you naked then (seems to work that way)

Oh, about the same.

Have you ever caught yourself staring at the chest/crotch of a person of your chosen sex during a normal conversation?
Yes…I try not to dwell on it, but the eyes will occasionally flick down.

What is your favorite body part of a person of your gender choice?
Lately…shoulders. I think it’s all the time at the back of the class exercise at Goodlife, and all the toned, bare, rippling shoulders. Also chin…I like a good chin and jawline.

Have you ever had sexual encounters (including kissing/making out) with multiple persons?
Simultaneously you mean. Yes…though not as often as I’d like.

Have you ever been propositioned by a prostitute?
No. At least…I don’t think so.

ENVY

What item of your friends would you most want to have for your own?
Motorcycle

Who would you want to go on “Trading Spaces” with?
Er….dagibbs maybe. It’s not envy though, it’s just a house with a lot of old character, that it maybe amusing to play with it, and the fact that it means gabriel_le would be at my house doing inventive and creative things like she does so well.

If you could be anyone who existed in the world, who would you be?
I try and come up with a clever answer, and come back to just me. I like me. I think I’m a pretty good choice. Heck, I think I’m a good answer for other people that answer this question.

Have you ever been cheated on?
No (to my knowledge), mostly because it’s not cheating when your partner (or me in this case) is wishing you well and hoping you have a good time.

Have you ever wished you had a physical feature different from your own?
Ok, like so many, a trimmer stomach maybe, also if I had more easily organized hair, I’d keep it longer more.

What inborn trait do you see in others that you wish you had for yourself?
A knack for small talk? Is that inborn? Probably not. Flexibility. I will with that…I wish I could bend more easily.

Do you do the most often? Sloth maybe

Do you do the least often? Wrath
